Travel has the ability to heal our souls, rejuvenate our spirits, and remind us of what truly matters.

WHY A WATERCOLOR RETREAT?

A getaway that helps you slow down, relax & express yourself over travel…

Imagine painting outdoors, without having to rush to get to the next item on your ‘to-do’ list done. This is your time to relax, reset, and be present, as you soak in the three ‘C’s – culture, company and creative process.

Join me on my next retreat as we learn to ‘go with the flow’ and experience exciting activities and friendships. I personally do the  planning, from location, to food, to activities – intentionally creating the perfect setting to learn, explore our creative side and spend quality time painting together. I deliberately pick locations that are surrounded by nature to help us regulate our emotions, mind and soul.

All retreat attendees get a beautiful watercolour canvas bag with all the art supplies for our workshops (that’s one less thing for you to pack). This enhances our learning experience.

If you could use some quality time with yourself, to slow down and just be present…then you’re in the right place.

This is for you

  • You are looking to pause & take a break for you.
  • You are ready to learn and explore watercolour as a creative outlet.
  • You prefer ‘all-inclusive’ style trips, so you can relax and reset.
  • You love to travel, experience culture, food and nature.
  • You are looking to connect and meet new people.
  • You are ready to meet yourself in a new setting.

This is not for you

  • You are looking for a week full of activities that keep you busy.
  • You are looking for workshops that lead you step-by-step into creating finished paintings more than exploring your own style.
  • The end result is more important than the process to get there.
  • You are expecting luxury service.
  • You are picky about food or people.
  • You would rather do majority of the things  alone.
  • You don’t like isolated settings in nature.

This was my first art retreat and I was able to bring my granddaughter with me and we had a blast. I have followed Clarice, for over a year now and could not wait to go. She made sure we all had fun and took care of all our needs; very organized trip. i am looking forward to next year. Clarice, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making this trip special for myself and of course Shaynah. You are very special and giving person. Oh, thank you to Princeton too.

I have just watched a slideshow of the photos from our retreat in Italy last year & despite not feeling well while there I still smile at the wonderful memories of such a great group & experiences we shared, & all that wonderful food we had😋.
