Art is therapy. Team that in a gorgeous setting and it becomes an unforgettable experience.
Allow yourself to ‘be present’ and take it all in, as you learn to let loose and ‘go with the flow’ over three en plein air watercolor workshops. Benefit from this in-person experience as we explore loose watercolour flowers.
I have carefully planned out 3 Watercolour Workshops. Gain more from one-on-one guidance, instruction and live demonstrations during our workshops together. All levels of experience are welcome. Come with an open mind to relax and express over romantic watercolour.
There’s much to be said about the learning experience when everyone is using the same supplies. As a Princeton Ambassador, I am proud to be able to supply quality products for our watercolour workshops.
This allows you to travel light without having to pack a bunch of art supplies. But feel free to bring your favourite products to use if you wish to do so.
All goodies are supplied in one of my Watercolour Canvas bags with a reminder to ‘Go with the flow’.
The list of supplies will be shared with all attendees closer to the date.

Set in a stunning backdrop that will leave you feeling like the main character in a painting.
As soon as you arrive at Agriturismo Cacciamici you will forget that ‘to-do list’. Breathe in nature, surrounded with panoramic views of the gorgeous Val d’Orcia Tuscan rolling hills. This gorgeous family run agriturismo boasts comfortable and warm accommodations, decorated with traditionally periodic furnishings.
Each apartment is unique and comes with it’s own assigned gazebo, and poolside lounge chairs, overlooking some of the most beautiful views ever. The apartments are furnished with a taste of the ancient, (rustic furniture, wooden beams, terracotta floors etc..) and come equipped with a kitchen, heating, and TV.
All meals including the delicious buffet breakfast are prepared by Laura & Jenny using all produce from their farm. All dietary requirements or allergies/intolerances can be accommodated.

“Go with the Flow” en plein air
Get your creative inspiration from gorgeous surroundings as we explore watercolour, painting loose florals and the beautiful Val d’Orcia hills. Learn to paint floral compositions, while exploring various colour combinations. We will also explore taking visual reference pictures (with our phones) of our surroundings and using it to paint loose Tuscan scenes.

This trip is for anyone looking to learn, grow and relax in watercolor. If you lead a busy life, and want to take some time for yourself and truly tune into self, this is for you. If you like to travel and experience culture, if you love nature, food and expression, this is for you.
While I have 3 excellent watercolour workshops planned, all supplies included, you have complete freedom to express and paint whatever your heart desires.

Food is an important factor when visiting Italy – for me atleast. Choose from Veg and Non-Veg options. For other specific restrictions, please let us know upon registration.
A group airport transfer will be scheduled anytime between 10am and 12pm from Florence airport.
The transfer back to Florence airport will be scheduled between 10 and 11am.
Yes, you can. Once you book your spot on the retreat, I am happy to provide the contact for our transfers. Alternatively, you can also book on your own.
Transportation for our day trip to Pienza will leave early mid morning.
After a few hours exploring this beautiful town, perhaps even having some gelato, we will proceed to the next town Montepulciano for a wine tasting lunch in the vineyard.
Free time in Montepulciano for shopping and sigh-seeing.
Take a leisurely stroll through Montepulciano, renowned for its stately Renaissance palaces, ancient churches, and stunning panoramas of the Tuscan countryside and Val d’Orcia.
Payments will be made in two installments.
Payment #1 – A minimum of $800 Non-refundable deposit, due upon registration.
Payment #2 – Remainder due by August 31st, 2026
*Please note: Additional payments made outside of the two, will be at an additional processing cost of $50U.S.D. per transaction.

Deposits are non-refundable.
If a participant cancels before June 1st ’26, they will receive any payments made, minus the deposit and any related creditcard/transfer fees.
If participant cancels between June 1 – July 31st ’26, they will receive 50% of their payment back, minus the deposit and any related creditcard/transfer fees.
Payments are non-refundable after July 31st ’26.
Payment is due in full for any registrations after July 31st ’26 and is non-refundable.
Any cancellation request received due to extenuating circumstances may be reviewed for appropriate refund and action. Extenuating circumstances can be (but not limited to) death in the family, illness etc. Deposit at registration is non-refundable.
If the event is cancelled, all participants will be extended a full refund of their payments and deposit.
Things to consider:
Group airport transfers are set for a specific time. Please note the time and location before booking flights, if you plan to use the group transfer. If your flight times are off, consider arriving a day or more earlier and exploring Florence – you won’t regret it. Additionally, you may also consider staying back a day or more to do the same.
Incase of mobility issues, please take special note of the location of your room incase steps are involved.
Please inform us of food allergies or any other special requirements ahead of time, the kitchen can make accommodations for it. In case we cannot accommodate special requirements, we will let you know ahead of time.
What we get in North America isn’t typically what we get in Europe. A lot of the retreat spaces picked are because of their old country charm, set in nature and are historical buildings.

What I do know is that simple search opened doors, and a sequence of events unfolded during and after Covid. So, I am sharing.
I looked forward to those Sunday classes–to seeing your smile and knowing that for an hour we would be playing and exploring water and art. It gave a bit of structure during a messed up time period, and created some beauty too. A few years later, I took the step to travel to Canada, enjoy N on the Lake, AND, to meet you and do more painting. So fun.
At the same time, I was remodeling some rooms in my house. A designer who was also an artist saw my “rough cuts” and encouraged me to keep going…and think about a shelf in my sunroom for art. I laughed. I mean, really. Today…that very shelf holds florals and Tuscanny inspired pieces!
The art took me to Italy, after all, a bucket list item. It also opened a door w/my wonderful niece, as she wants me to paint the Table Nos. for her Catskills wedding. And the art has been donated to charity auctions to causes I care about. A few people have it in their homes, which is pretty cool. Of course I’ve also given cards to friends and even a few framed pieces. My one neighbor moved after thirty years in their house, and told me that their House art I did was the first thing on their new mantle! And….the best!! I teach beginners, no rules florals to a cancer support group-Cancer Bridges. Every two months, I’ve gotten to know some of the ladies, some in active treatment and/or recovery. For two hours we paint, laugh and share.
Oh, and my new business: the art appears on my website and my biz cards.
So quite a journey –right?—from finding you during Covid. All the doors that have opened. Thank you for being the gateway to so many worthwhile twists and turns of life.”

Imagine what it must feel like to live in a beautiful Tuscan painting, as you slow down, relax & express yourself…
I am so excited for this retreat! know our lives are so busy that we barely have the time to ‘pause’ to do much for ourselves. Life is short and the way to ‘live in the moment’ is to intentionally carve out time to ‘be present’. Hence this relaxing ‘all inclusive’ watercolour retreat.
I have personally planned this week, from location, to food, to activities – creating the perfect setting to explore and grow from the inside out. I have purposefully planned for a small group, for an intimate and greater learning experience
We will be nourishing ourselves with gourmet meals, exploring a pretty fairytale town, tasting some of the world’s best reds (in a historical cellar), learning to make ‘pici’ pasta from our hosts, and more.
I have even planned our loose floral watercolour workshops that will help you come into your own painting style. I am also excited to share all art supplies needed for these sessions will be provided. And they come in one of my watercolour canvas bags.
